Golftec's first week of trade

Last week was an enjoyable week for the Golftec team. After months of building, we were anxious to get the feedback of customers after launching on Monday. We were delighted with the feedback we received. Everyone agreed that the new facility was a step up from the Richmond venue in terms of the facilities and the technology.

Due to our city location, we had a number of people come through the doors that had never seen a golf simulator in action. Some people were staggered that you could hit a real golf ball indoors using real clubs just minutes from their work location. Whilst they were a little apprehensive at first, after a few shots they got into the swing of things. The Golftec team was amazed at the number people who came through the door with actual golf swings. Everyone seemed to be a 20 handicapper or below, which was not what we were expecting at all.

Perhaps the highlight of the week was the use of the video swing analysis tools that we provide. All of the 2-D bays are setup with swing cameras at the rear and most have side view as well. Customers were really getting into watching their swing on video, many doing so for the first time.
