New Mizuno Clubs have arrived

This week at Golftec saw the several new models of Mizuno clubs arrive in the venue.  Below is a quick summary of what we now have on the flaw available to try for free for members and casual users.

Mizuno Irons

The MP-64 irons have a muscle back and are most similar to the old MP-59s that we have had on the floor for the last year. The new design, is designed for low handicap golfers, but offers a little bit more forgiveness compared to the Mizuno blades. Mizuno testing has shown that the new MP-64 irons offer a smoother feel compared to the Mp-59 predecessor.

The JPX-825 and JPX-800 Pro irons also arrived in stock. They supersede the JPX-800 irons which we have also had in the venue for more than a year. The JPX-800 and JPX-800 pro irons have proved to be our most popular game improvement club among members who frequent the venue. The JPX825s are aimed at handicaps above 15 while the JPX-800 Pros are aimed at lower handicap golfers but still offer significant forgiveness compared to other irons in the Mizuno range. The JPX range of clubs are long! Members are claiming that the new 825 range is even longer than the 800 models. They produce a feel of more control than their predecessor.

Mizuno Drivers

Mizuno are starting to make inroads into the driver market, a market traditionally dominated by Taylormade, Ping and Callaway.

Joining our MP-650 range of drivers is the JPX-825 driver. Before the introduction of the MP-650 I was sceptical on the ability of Mizuno to produce a good driver, however, the MP-650 and JPX-825 drivers test very favourably on our simulators when up against models from competitors. They are also much more durable than previous Mizuno models.

Mizuno wedges

Mizuno T-4 wedges have also arrived in varying degrees of loft ranging from 52 all the way up to 60 degree loft, you can try these wedges out on our chipping green which is located on the upper level along will our full range of Mizuno putters. The wedges are a much sleeker design compared to previous models

Mizuno Club Fitting

As always, you can get a Mizuno Club Fit using our high-tech Mizuno club fitting cart which is located in the venue.
